What's on Tap at the WSOP Today – June 3 and 4, 2008
Nenad Medic became the first bracelet winner of the 2008 WSOP. As a result, the 25 year old Serbian-Canadian ushered in the World Series. It's totally on now that bracelets are in the air, right?
The WSOP tournament menu is pretty tasty today with the final day of the $1,500 NLHE tournament. Theo Tran and Aaron Coulthard are at the head of the chip heap with 22 players left. The event is expected to play out to its conclusion before the next day dawns at the Rio. In addition, the grueling Pot Limit Hold'em tournament with a $5,000 buy-in is David Singer, who recently took down the Full Tilt Poker $25,000 World Heads Up Championship , is on top. 63 players remain with the event hoping to break for the day when the final table is set.
