World Series of Poker To-Do List – April 2008

For our April edition of the World Series of Poker To-Do List, we've gotta warn you that now's the time to really streamline your efforts if you want to get to the WSOP this summer. Pre-registration is underway online at http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com . If you have the money and want to pay the full buy-in, head on over there ASAP.

We also suggest that you get your airfare and hotel accommodations set. Harrah's has specials for WSOP entrants in their network of hotels which includes Caesar's Palace, The Rio and Harrah's Las Vegas. Visit them at http://www.harrahs.com and click on the Las Vegas tab for more information.

Of course, if you want to win your way to the World Series this summer, there are still lots of opportunities. For April, we think that PokerStars has a great promotion going.

The online home of four World Series of Poker Main Event champs (Tom McEvoy, Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer & John Hachem), PokerStars has sent thousands of people to the World Series of Poker in the past five years alone.

The site prides itself on giving poker players a WSOP experience that they'll never forget. PokerStars has a $12,500 prize package which includes the Main Event buy-in, free hotel accommodations at the Palms for 8 nights, shuttle bus service to the Rio each day and cash bonuses for those who make the final table and/or win the event!

To help people of all sorts of poker budgets into this $10,000 Main Event, PokerStars offers you three paths to win your way there. You can use your Frequent Player Points, cash qualifiers from as little as $2.00 and step qualifiers that allow FPPs and/or cash depending upon what you have sitting in your account.

Visit PokerStars today for more information on all three pathways to the WSOP this summer and we hope to see you in Vegas in '08!
