Play against Chris Ferguson and other Full Tilters in the FTOPS
Do you have what it takes to become an FTOPS champ? The Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) brings together the best and brightest online players in the world. They compete in various events such as No-Limit Texas Holdem, Pot Limit Omaha, Razz and HORSE. The series began on Saturday November 11th and will continue until Sunday November 19th. Most events have a buy-in of $200 +$16. The Main Event has a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000 and only costs $500 + $35.
Satellites are going on now. They start as low as $4.00 +$.40 for some of the events.
I've been playing in a few of these satellites. Let me tell you - the competition at Full Tilt is fast, furious and fierce. These are not easy events to get into. I thought I'd be safe by focusing on Razz. That's my game. Unfortunately, Full Tilters sure know how to play any game you throw at them. I still haven't made it into Friday's event.
It seems as if everyone wants to get in on the action and join in the FTOPS...and why not? Full Tilt is guaranteeing a total of $2.5 million for the entire event. That's more than double what they offered in August, when the first FTOPS took place.
The winner of each event not only gets a lion's share of some serious prize money. He/she also gets a customized FTP avatar to show off their accomplishment and a one-of-a-kind Full Tilt Poker jersey in everyone's favorite color, gold.
