Max Pescatori, aka The Italian Pirate, was the host for the Pot Limit Omaha with Rebuys tournament at Full Tilt Poker on Saturday, August 18. Pal to Jennifer Harman and Marco Traniello, Pescatori is used to playing high stakes poker. However, he came out for the $109 buy-in tournament, along with 872 other folks. The guarantee was just $200,000, but the event ended up with a prize pool of over $300,000. First place paid out more than $72,000.
Although Pescatori didn't finish in the money in this event (he cashed in events #7 and #12 and made the final table in event #10), the site was represented by former World Series of Poker champion, Huck Seed. The 1996 winner of the WSOP Main Event finished in 80 th place, earning over $600.00.
