Full Tilt Monday $1k – Danny “THE__DR__Y” Ryan Wins Again
Danny “THE__DR__Y” Ryan wins the Full Tilt Monday $1k, taking down the top spot of $81,750.
Full Tilt Poker's Monday $1k, held on April 13th, 2009, attracted 327 players to the fold. The eventual champion was slated to receive $81,750. Some notable finishers included Jason “JCarver” Somerville, Andy “BKiCe” Seth and Full Tilt's own Amanda “MandyB” Baker.
None of these made the final table, however. Danny “THE__DR__Y” Ryan entered the final table in first place with 385,641, nearly double that of his nearest competitor, AA_GAMBIT. Gambit finished in third place, leaving Ryan with Aditya “Intervention” Agarwal. Agarwal had a 2:1 chip lead as heads up play began but the experienced Ryan, who has won this event, overcame the deficit, winning the title and the top spot.
