Full Tilt Poker saw almost 2,600 players join in the fun during their $400,000 Guarantee. This brought the prize pool up to a healthy $519,400. Cliff “JohnnyBax” Josephy was second in chips to vegan213, winner of the FTP $750,000 tourney in January of '07, who was sitting pretty with 2.6 million.
Unfortunately, for vegan, his chips dwindled throughout the final table action. He was eliminated in fourth place by thescarecrow13 after losing several big pots to Josephy earlier on. When three-handed play began, magikstick8 held the chip lead with 4.2 mil. JohnnyBax was hanging on with a hair over 1 mil left in chips.
However, JohnnyBax, one of the internet's best-known and most consistent pros, launched a comeback, but magikstick8 would not give in. After sending thescarecrow to the virtual rail in third place, she had the clear advantage. The heads-up match only lasted two minutes.

At PartyPoker , 1445 players anted up for the weekly $300,000 Guaranteed Tournament. 200 folks made bank. derdings and Jukkie911 led the way into the final table, each holding about 1.5 million chips. stonygolf fell first, running into Jukkie's pocket threes. Jukkie would then take out jogandumuito by cracking the jogandu's American Airlines with a measly Q,10. Ouch!
derdings decided to deal the death blow to sklansky18 with pocket nines. MrAppleforce departed the table in sixth place after a bad beat, then a defeat, both dealt to him by Addicted2McD. Jukkie then took out the next two players, one of which was derdings. He never really looked back and won the whole thing.

Ultimate Bet had to post $26,600 to meet its $200,000 Guarantee on Sunday. Only 867 players entered the event. KAZAG sat down at the final table with the chip lead. Unfortunately, he was unable to add to his stack throughout the action, leading to his fourth-place elimination at the hands of FeedMEMunE and his big slick in the hole. This gave Feed a nice lead at the beginning on three-handed play.
However, he wouldn't be able to take it on home. raaazib got lucky when FeedME got disconnected from the game, quickly raking in the post while FeedME desperately worked to reconnect. Upon his return, FeedME announced that his opponent had “no class” for doing what he did in his absence. Unfortunately, the final hand came shortly afterwards and raazib was victorious.

Head2782 ticked off many of his opponents en route to the final table. It seems his strategy was to move all-in no matter what he was holding or up against. Although his play was unorthodox, it carried the day. He made it to heads-up play with Johnny Mojo with a clear advantage of 4-to-1. The matchup lasted less than five minutes. Head2782 had Ah,Kh and earned top pair on the flop.
