UFman2 Takes Title from Antoshka at Full Tilt Poker on September 7, 2008
Although PokerStars was in the throes of its $10,000 high roller event, Full Tilt had ample attendance at its $750,000 GTD on Sunday September 7, 2008. 3,828 players ponied up their fees to partake of the action in the event, driving up the prize pool to $767,600.
The final two players were Antoshka and UFman2. Each of these players has made various final tables between them. Antoshka came in second in this event back in April, when it still had only a $400,000 guarantee. Antoshka matched that finish after coming in second behind UFman2, a former winner of a Daily $100 with rebuys at PokerStars, in this event. UFman2, earned more than $135,000 for his feat. It was his biggest cash to date.
