958 entrants battled for the guaranteed $200,000 at Ultimate Bet's major Sunday tournament offering. Although attendance was up this weekend, the site still had to pay out $8,400 to meet the guarantee.
The final table, however, wasn't lacking for star power. In fact, the final two combatants, kice32 and Garrett “GfcukinBecks” Becks are no strangers to online success. GfcukinBecks has a FTOPS title and made strong finishes in the Bodog Sunday $100,000, including a third place run in February 2008. kice32 won the Bodog Sunday $100k on March 18, 2007 and took down the Absolute Poker Saturday $150,000 twice, the last time was March 29, 2008.
kice32 emerged victorious from the match-up, adding $45,000 to his bankroll.
