“Resistance is futile” was the catch phrase of the Borg, that pesky race of cyborgs from Star Trek that went around assimilating everything that moved. One could only wonder if Lee Jones showed up at Daniel Negreanu's doorstep and uttered this phrase before injecting him with nanoprobes and turning him, body and soul, into a member of Team PokerStars .
Or, then again, that could just be a fanboy fantasy. But the reality is that Daniel “Kid Poker” Negreanu has indeed joined PokerStars, and his counter-culture online poker room, Full Contact Poker, has been joined to the same entity. Players from FCP will have accounts transferred over, and the FCP site will “go back to its roots” as a poker forum featuring Negreanu.
…but I like my version better…
