No Pro for WSOP Ladies Event
Things were looking good for Katja Thater (who is used to looking good) at the final table of Event 17, the Ladies World Championship No-Limit Hold'em. She was the only pro at the table, and quickly took the lead. It wasn't to be, however, as the German pro was knocked out in fifth.Julie Dang was the first to go, followed by Vanessa Selbst, Mindy Trinidad, and Frauke Sporschill. Katja made a move with AT but was caught out by AQ. Kathleen Gliva went out in fourth followed by Randi Calabro (who lost her job to play but picked up $100k in 3rd) and Anne Heft runner up.
Sally Boyer picked up the sweet deal- the special WSOP bracelet by CORUM, the New You makeover package, the VIP WNBA package, and let's not forget the $262,077.
