The World Poker Tour event Mirage Poker Showdown started out with 309 players and is now down to 18, three times the final number for the TV table that is sure to come. The over-one million dollar top prize is up for grabs, but some players have a bit more experience doing the grabbing than others. Phil Ivey is still in the running, as is Nam Le. Alen Goehring and Shannon Shorr, both big WPT names, are there, as is Mirage Poker Showdown Heads-Up winner David "The Dragon" Pham and Young Guns of Poker alumni John D'Agostino. With such a choice field of candidates, the final table simply has to be exciting poker.
