Merovingian Conquers Field at FTOPS VII, Event #7
Peter “Nordberg” Feldman, winner of the 2007 World Series of Poker Circuit Championship at the Harrah's Rincon, took to the felt for Event #7 at the Full Tilt Online Poker Series VII (FTOPS VII). The $100 + 9 buy-in NLHE with rebuys drew in 2,254. All tolled, these players racked up a prize pool of $663,500. More than $121,000 went to the top spot. Swedish online player Merovingian earned that distinction after a tough match including online megastars such as rkruok and Travis “TravestyFund” Rice, winner of the Ultimate Bet Aruba Classic in October 2007.
Also finishing strong was Full Tilt Poker player Eddy Scharf, a professional pilot and two-time WSOP winner. He took 152nd place and $663.50 for his efforts.
