Full Tilt Poker had a hair over 3,000 at this weekend's $500,000 Guarantee. This brought the prize pool up to a healthy $601,000. mjorgenson13 was the chip leader when the final table action got underway. He was joined at the table by internet notables JCarver and MavFish.
Unfortunately, MavFish would was on the lower end of the chip scale. He pushed all-in with a K,6 and found a caller in Balderdashin22, who held an A,J. The board brought the Fish no help and skidded into the virtual rail in eighth place with almost $11,000 for his payday.
mjorgenson13 would last 'til play got down to three-handed. At that point, he made his final stand with a 7h,3h after the flop brought him a middle pair and a back-door flush draw. However, his opponent JCarver, the tournament's eventual winner, flipped over a Kd,7s, also giving him middle-pair and a bigger kicker. The turn and river yielded no help so mjorgenson13 conceded defeat, taking with him a healthy amount of money.
The elimination gave JCarver a massive chip lead going into heads-up play. That portion of the match only lasted seven minutes. On the final hand, J carved out the win with a set of kings.

Skip6723 slipped out of the event in fifth place when he went all-in with his remaining 286k with an A,9. OrionHigh, who had already raised it up, called and flipped over pocket tens. They held up and skip receive $11,000 for the fifth place finish.
Going into three-handed action, OrionHigh was the chip leader. He would remain in a pretty solid position 'til the final hand when he proved that he was flush with success by making – what else – a spade flush to KO MarkT1234 and earn the win as well as the $45,000 prize that came with it.

Tigers222 was in the top slot when the final table got going. However, he exited the table earlier than anticipated after bleeding off the bulk of his chips. His swan song came when he pushed his remaining 232,000 into the middle with a 10,9o. Unfortunately dcmoeron called him with American Airlines in the hole. He bid adieu to his tablemates in sixth place, receiving only $4,400 for his efforts.
dcmoeron would make it to heads-up play against SoxNation83 with a huge chip lead. However, Sox is used to being the underdog. He made short work of his opponent despite the 3-1 chip deficit and came back in a bigger way than the 2004 World Series of baseball champs.
